After a 25-year career in the banking industry as a branch manager, trainer, auditor and security director, Amy took early retirement when she moved to Kentucky in 2014. She subsequently spent several rewarding years working in human resources at a local university, a job she left in 2021 to care full-time for her elderly mother.

Amy’s passions include a commitment to justice, equity, inclusion, civil rights, education, and domestic violence prevention. She believes strongly that Gen Z, with their focus on authenticity, diversity, mental health and pragmatism, is uniquely positioned to shape a brighter, more inclusive future for everyone.

Amy and her husband, Bryan, are the proud and doting grandparents of six wonderful human beings.
