Janet is a College and Career Readiness expert and strategic program leader with over six years of experience directing post-secondary pathways for diverse student populations. Her work focuses on maximizing student success by building robust, equitable pathways for both college-bound students and those entering the adult workforce.

As the Futures Center Coordinator at Evergreen High School since 2019, Janet has directly guided over 1,700 students and hundreds of families through complex college admissions cycles. She successfully developed and manages a comprehensive, two-track guidance program that provides tailored support for four-year college applicants, as well as those pursuing military, trade school, gap year, or immediate workforce entry.

With partners such as the Wooden Hawk Foundation and colleagues in Jeffco Public Schools, Janet has spearheaded the development of a robust networking and experiential learning framework, establishing strategic partnerships with community organizations to facilitate local job shadowing and internship opportunities, and building a dedicated alumni mentorship and membership program.
