Mountains Got Talent (MGT) 2026 Student Artist Registration Form

Begin your Mountains Got Talent journey here. This registration form is for student performers—solo artists and bands—from mountain-area schools who wish to compete in a live, judged music event. Registered acts will perform onstage in front of a live audience and be evaluated by industry professionals, with selected winners earning paid performance opportunities at local summer festivals.

MGT is designed to give students real-world performance experience in a supportive, professional setting. Performers of all experience levels are welcome, provided registration requirements are met.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FIRST

  1. 20 PERFORMANCE SLOTS AVAILABLE Tryouts are NOT REQUIRED this year. Registration is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED, and available slots may fill quickly.
  2. AGE REQUIREMENTS Participants must be AGES 8–18 at the time of performance.
  3. JUDGING Each act will be evaluated by a PANEL OF 5 JUDGES who are PROFESSIONALS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY. Judges will determine the WINNING ACTS.
  4. WINNER OPPORTUNITIES Winning acts will receive PAID PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES at one of the following festivals:
    • SUMMERFEST – July 18 & 19
    • MOUNTAIN MUSIC FEST – August 15
    • EVERGREEN FINE ARTS FESTIVAL – August 22 & 23
    • EPRD SUMMER CONCERT SERIES – June 10, July 8, July 22, August 5, August 19
  5. IMPORTANT DATES
    • FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2026 – Registration deadline
    • FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 2026 – Final list of acts announced
    • FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 2026 – MOUNTAINS GOT TALENT EVENT
      • TECH: 3:00–6:00 PM
      • SHOW: 6:00–9:00 PM

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

EACH ARTIST MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT A REGISTRATION FORM, even if performing as part of a band or group.

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that participation in MOUNTAINS GOT TALENT (MGT) is VOLUNTARY and may include, but is not limited to: LIVE PERFORMANCES, REHEARSALS, PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND AUDIO RECORDING, AND PUBLIC PROMOTION. I grant permission for my name, image, likeness, and performance to be used for EVENT, PROMOTIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND ARCHIVAL PURPOSES without compensation. I acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks associated with live performances and public events. I agree to ASSUME ALL RISKS and to RELEASE, WAIVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS MOUNTAINS GOT TALENT, THE WOODEN HAWK FOUNDATION, EVENT PARTNERS, SPONSORS, AND VENUES, including their officers, employees, volunteers, and agents, from any claims arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to comply with all MGT Rules and Code of Conduct.
If the student is 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, this signature serves as their legal consent and liability waiver.
