As the founder of the Michele Vanags State Farm Agency, she has been an integral part of the mountain community for over two decades, providing vital support and guidance to her neighbors. Life however took an unexpected turn when Einar passed away.
Faced with the realization that their shared dream could no longer be fulfilled, Michele decided to forge ahead and bring their vision to life by founding the Wooden Hawk Foundation. The name holds deep personal significance, reflecting both Michele and Einar’s proud first-generation American heritage, with roots in Holland and Latvia. Embracing this new chapter, Michele, alongside her children Hans and Jade, is passionately dedicated to utilizing the Foundation as a meaningful conduit for uplifting causes and issues aligned with their family’s core values and passions.
