After working as a travel agent for 8 years, Trisha decided to take a couple of years off to stay at home with her young sons. As her sons began their schooling, Trisha embarked on a new career path in education, ultimately becoming an elementary special education teach-er.

Trisha is passionate about students having access to mental and behavioral health re-sources in their schools and communities as well as eliminating food insecurity for stu-dents, both of which are barriers to academic success. She believes in the collaboration between schools and the community to enhance the academic achievements of the stu-dents and is a regular volunteer at her community food bank.

Trisha loves to travel, read, be in the outdoors and spend time with friends and family. She resides near Seattle with her husband Joe and their three sons.
